Oh god, yes, yes, yes! Please, oh great lord Kermit, let this rumour be true. Y’see, today’s hot rumour is about the phone in the pic, over there, to the right. And that’s because it’s said to be the actual, upcoming Blackberry Storm 3. And you know what that means. Yes, it’s time for the Terminator naming scheme to continue.
So, if the rumour (as documented by Engadget) is true, then say hello to the Storm 3: Rise of the Machines! Although I do hope they have a bit of gap between this phone and the next one, because I’m rapidly running out of Terminator films to name ‘em after. Seriously, once we’ve gone though Storm: Salvation, and Storm: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, that’s it…
Sorry, I got sidetracked there, didn’t I? Anyway, specs! Well, the Blackberry Storm 3 is said to have a nice meaty 3.7 inch screen (up from 3.2 inches on the Blackberry Storm 2), and presumably it’ll be the same clicky screen as on the Storm 2. Which’ll be nice, ‘cos I love the magic quantum piezoelectric clicky screen on that phone. It’s also said to have 8GB of onboard storage, and a 5MP camera.
However, I am still worried for the day when I run out of Terminator names. I could use the names from the comics, I suppose, but not everyone knows those. But then, not everyone knows Rise of the Machines, either.
I wish I didn’t know Rise of the Machines. Rubbish film. Let’s hope the phone’s better, eh.
